Jewelry Making Workshops

Occasionally I will be hosting jewelry workshops.

(Once the danger of Covid 19 is past)

They will be informal in nature, with very small class size.

I do not profess to be a professional jewelry teacher,

but I do think it is fun to pass on some of my knowledge.

Cost of workshops will vary depending on projects,

materials provided and number of days desired.

I live and work in Dolores, Colorado.

If this is something you might be interested in

please email me, and I will put you on a workshop notification list.

You may also put in a request for specific dates

that coordinate with your travel plans to Southwest Colorado.

(..that I may or may not be able to accomodate!)

This basic skills workshop covered design transfer to metal, drilling, saw piercing,

torch handling and soldering, annealing, hammering, texturing, sanding and finishing techniques.

The students worked in brass and copper.

Lost Wax Casting Class:  covered basic wax working techniques, plus some tips and tricks;

The students carved a piece of jewelry from jewelers wax, made the mold, and cast into sterling silver.

student's finished silver rings!

FYI: We built a darling little Airbnb cottage that is 20 minutes away

from my home studio on our son's farm in Mancos.
